Gas springs and fittings
A gas spring is a mechanical device that is generally designed to damp or compensate for mechanical vibrations or movements by storing spring energy. Gas springs are usually composed of gas-filled cylinders in which a combination of gas pressure and the oil level in the cylinders controls springing and energy absorption. They are often used in suspension systems for vehicles, industrial machinery or sports equipment to damp vibrations or smooth movements. Gas springs are available with a variety of endings. There are threaded end, eye end and ball joint gas springs. The gas spring can be made of steel or stainless steel.
